Hilversum Noord railway station
Hilversum Noord (until 1989, called Hilversum NOS) is a railway station in the town of Hilversum, the Netherlands. Opened on 24 May 1974, Hilversum Noord is located on the Amsterdam–Zutphen railway - also called the Gooilijn - north of the town centre, serving Media Park, where most Dutch television and radio broadcasters are located. The station is approximately 27 km (17 mi) from Amsterdam Centraal. Before 1989, the station was named Hilversum NOS: a reference to the public broadcaster Nederlandse Omroep Stichting (more commonly referred to as NOS).
